Hand Therapy Weekend Seminars

Kaiser Permanente, Southern California Region is proud to offer a series of weekend seminars: a hand therapy program designed to provide occupational therapists and physical therapists with knowledge and skill in the management and treatment of hand and wrist problems. Interested therapists may also apply for the Hand Fellowship Program which is inclusive of the weekend seminars, 1:1 mentoring and a 20 hours workweek in a clinical setting with varied hand and wrist diagnoses.


Course Objectives

  • The course will focus on the assessment, management and treatment of patients with wrist and hand disorders.
  • The program will also provide a study guide and education fundamental for the participants in an effort to support the preparation of occupational and physical therapists taking the HTCC board certification examination.

To Register, Submit the Following:

  • A cover letter providing you’re mailing address, phone number, and email address. In the letter, provide a brief description of your main objective (s) for participating in the course.
  • A brief resume, or your current CV.

Refund Policy

  • Full, as long as notification is given soon enough to allow for an individual from the wait list to be confirmed as a participant.

Enrollment for the fellowship will be limited by the available Kaiser sites and the most qualified applicants.

  • Enrollment for the seminars is limited. The first individuals who return their cover letter, resume and registration fee will gain admission to the program. Eleanor Monroe will send each participant a letter of confirmation of enrollment in the program during the first week of November and at that time, all checks will be cashed. For those who are not confirmed, their checks will be returned during the same time period and they will be placed on a waitlist for the following year.
